The Evolution of an Artist

It is rare that you get to live during a time that a new genre and platform for art is born and you get to watch it bloom in its early stages of its existence. Street art and graffiti is one of those genres. What is most interesting are the creators and contributors who drive a movement forward. First generation artists like we see at Art Basel come from all walks of life. Doctors, computer programmers, Jiu Jitsu fighters, are all artists who express themselves in this form of art. Where do these artists draw their voices from? Where does the art form go from here? It’s still a baby moving into adolescence and what will its teen years look like and who will help raise it?
